We recommend COLORHUE dyes if you are dying on silk. For cotton, denim and other fabrics, we've found Setacolor and Jacquard paints are excellent. Other brands may be used also. Instructions on how to silkscreen using the COLORHUE dyes with shaving cream as a stabilizer are included. Lumiere paints (by Jacquard) may be combined with COLORHUE dyes when you want some sparkle and also work well with the shaving cream.
The large dramatic images on our 8.5"x 11" sheets are ideal for making strong visual statements. See how they've been used on jackets, vests, shirts, pants, handbags, and more in our pictures. Our silkscreens provide you with an assortment of all-over patterns, borders and spot designs chosen to work well together on clothing, art quilts or wall hangings. These images can be combined with other images in our collection for some beautiful and interesting patterns.
In addition to silkscreening directly on clothing, panels can be made separately and then either inset or appliquéd onto a piece of clothing.
Members of the Silk Experience group have developed a technique for silk screening dyes onto silk utilizing COLORHUE instant-set silk dyes.
The dye penetrates the fiber without changing its texture, creating deep, rich color. Full instructions are included in each silkscreen pack.

Most of our silkscreens were made from ancient woodcuts from the Orient scanned from very old books published before 1900.
In some cases, lines may have been removed or made heavier so the image would work better as a silkscreen.
Each package contains one 8.5" x 11" silkscreen with images that can be combined with other images in our collection.
